Animal Hospital, P.C.
Hospital Policies
Noah's Ark
We see patients by appointment, except in case of emergencies. If your pet is experiencing an emergency, please call ahead so
that we can be prepared for your pet upon arrival.
We require that all pets be placed on a leash, or in a pet carrier for the
safety of your pet, as well as others. If need to borrow a leash, or carrier, simply ask one of our friendly staff members for
one before you bring your pet in the building.
If you are unable to keep your appointment, we ask that you please be courteous
enough to call 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule for another time. We reserve the right to charge for appointments
broken without notice. Repeated "no-call, no-shows" or last minute cancellations (less than 24 hours) may be required to
prepay the office call before scheduling another appointment.
Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, cash and
personal checks. In order to keep costs as low as possible, we do not bill on account.
Boarding/Hospitalization Policy
For the safety of your pet, as well as others in our care, all pets that are admitted to the hospital as inpatients (boarding
or hospitalization) are required to have distemper and rabies vaccines up to date, and be free of internal and external
parasites. Pets undergoing anesthesia must also be screened with certain blood tests beforehand.
Dr. Stipe is available for emergency service for established and active patients of Noah's Ark Animal Hospital. Patients are considered
active if they have received their preventative care at Noah's Ark within the last 18 months. If your pet has never
been seen at Noah's Ark, or it has been over 18 months since their last preventative care visit with us, please contact either the
Capital District Animal Emergency Clinic at 785-1094, or the Northway Animal Emergency Clinic at 761-2602. For more information
